Daniel Glazer’s practice focuses on intellectual property and technology-related transactions, including intellectual property licensing, software and technology development, transfer and services arrangements, and the intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, secured transactions, and other corporate transactions.  His practice also includes trademark and copyright counseling, enforcement and prosecution.

Advising clients on many high-profile and complex matters, Mr. Glazer has represented numerous Fortune 50 corporations, including media conglomerates, financial services institutions, manufacturing companies and health groups.  He also has represented food and beverage companies, major professional sports teams and leagues, telecommunications companies and retail companies, as well as museums and other not-for-profit entities.

Nationally recognized in the field of sports law, Mr. Glazer appears frequently in the national media as a commentator on legal issues in professional and college sports (including on NBC, CNN, ESPN, FOX, MSNBC and NPR), and has been profiled in The New York Law Journal regarding his activities in the field.  He also is cited regularly in articles as an authority on intellectual property law and sports law, including in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, Sports Business Journal, USA Today, Law360, Bloomberg, National Law Journal and CNN/Sports Illustrated.

Mr. Glazer, a Senior Editor of The Trademark Reporter and a member of Intellectual Property magazine’s Advisory Board, has published numerous articles on intellectual property law and sports law topics in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, National Law Journal and The New York Law Journal.  He also frequently lectures in a variety of contexts on intellectual property law and sports law topics, and is the Chair of U.S. programming for the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2011 Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
