Meridith Bogart Krell’s practice involves representing clients in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation law. Ms. Krell counsels both for-profit and tax-exempt clients with respect to design, administration and compliance issues involving qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, health and welfare benefit plans, and various other benefit and compensation arrangements. She also provides guidance to clients in connection with government filings for benefit plans, claims involving benefit plan participants and beneficiaries, and fiduciary responsibility and liability matters. In addition, Ms. Krell advises clients on a broad range of employment matters, including in the negotiation of employment and severance agreements, wage and hour laws, executive and other employee terminations, reductions-in-force, employee performance matters, and personnel policies. She also assists clients with respect to employee benefit and employment aspects of mergers and acquisition transactions.
