Amy Carper Mena practices real-estate law, focusing on the representation of landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, commercial lenders in a wide spectrum of real-estate financings, and purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential real property.  Ms. Mena also commits time to pro-bono projects, and, in collaboration with the City Bar Justice Center of the New York City Bar Association, successfully represented a refugee in gaining asylum.

Before joining Patterson Belknap, Ms. Mena clerked for Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, then of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
