In Stent War, Boston Scientific Caves (Again), Agrees to Pay Johnson & Johnson $1.725 Billion to Settle Three Cases

On January 29, Boston Scientific Corporation agreed to pay our client Cordis Corporation, Johnson & Johnson’s cardiac device unit, $1.725 billion in the largest settlement of any patent infringement case in the United States.  Patterson Belknap represented Cordis for more than a decade in this litigation relating to coronary stents.  For more details, please read the attached article.
