Firm Honors Foreign Statesman, Mikheil Saakashvili, President of Georgia

The firm hosted a reception for the new President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, on February 26. President Saakashvili, who was in the US attending a State Dinner at the White House at the invitation of President George Bush on Wednesday, visited New York City on Thursday. President Saakashvili is an alumnus of the firm, having served here as an associate in 1994-1995. He remains friendly with firm partner, Scott Horton, who traveled to Tbilisi for the inauguration in late January 2004.
