In follow up to our
December 2010 Alert, models of the notice forms required by the Wage Theft Prevention Act are now available from the New York Department of Labor ('NYDOL") on its website, located at
http://www.labor.ny.gov/formsdocs/wp/ellsformsandpublications.shtm. The NYDOL has indicated that employers may create their own forms and that some of the content of the NYDOL's forms is optional. The NYDOL has also indicated that it will be publishing additional dual language forms in Creole, Russian and Polish.
