Jean Tom is an associate in the firm's Tax-Exempt Organizations Group.  Ms. Tom advises public charities and private foundations on structure, governance, tax compliance, grant-making and general corporate and real estate matters.  She has assisted in the formation of new charitable entities, advised established organizations on lobbying and advocacy activities, drafted consulting and employment agreements and reviewed client leases and mortgage documents.  Before joining the firm, Ms. Tom served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Raymond J. Dearie, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York.
