Overview
Travis J. Tu is a partner in the firm's litigation department, where he practices general commercial litigation. Mr. Tu has worked extensively in the areas of intellectual property and false advertising, including numerous disputes in federal court under the Lanham Act and before the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Mr. Tu also has been involved in more than a dozen state court litigations involving claims of unfair competition, false advertising and consumer fraud. Mr. Tu has significant experience in the legal requirements for consumer perception surveys, copy tests, and empirical research on consumer purchasing behavior.
Mr. Tu is the former Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Law Review and served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Sonia Sotomayor from 2003-2004 when she was a judge in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
