Biography

Daniel Eisenberg is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation department, where he represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and criminal justice matters. From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Eisenberg served as a law clerk to the late Hon. Robert P. Patterson Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Representative Matters

Represent pharmaceutical company in tariff dispute with U.S. Customs regarding tariff classification of company’s blockbuster drug.

Represent medical device manufacturer in disputes involving antitrust, false advertising, and patent infringement claims.

Defend non-profit foundation from government investigation into allegedly stolen artwork.

Advise U.S. education institution on U.S. sanctions regulations.

Represent partners in $100 million dispute with former partners concerning a real estate development.

Represented telecommunications company in contract dispute relating to intellectual property licenses. Obtained arbitral award in favor of our client.

Serving on the Independent Monitoring Team for the Newark Police Division (NPD), responsible for overseeing the NPD’s compliance with a Consent Decree between the City of Newark and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Pro bono civil rights action relating to the death of an incarcerated person by correction officers.

Pro bono prosecution of negligence claims on behalf of tenants of New York’s Chinatown who were displaced by a seven-alarm fire. Obtained settlement favorable to our clients.
