Devon Hercher is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation department. Devon Hercher represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, and is a member of the Independent Monitoring Team for the Newark Police Division (“NPD”), responsible for overseeing the City of Newark’s and NPD’s compliance with a Consent Decree entered into with the U.S. Department of Justice.  Additionally, Ms. Hercher maintains an active pro bono practice. From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Hercher served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert W. Lehrburger of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Represents financial guaranty insurers bringing claims in contract and fraud litigations against investment banks that sponsored and originated residential mortgage-backed securities.

Represented a corporation in connection with allegations by a competitor of antitrust violations, unfair business practices and conspiracy.

Investigations and representations of corporations in connection with potential allegations arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other federal laws.

Representation of individuals in connection with investigations and potential prosecutions by the Department of Justice.
