Danielle Quinn to Serve as Panelist in Albany Law School CLE, “Commercial Division Rules in Supreme and County Courts: What You Must Know”
On Thursday, May 27, Danielle Quinn will serve as a panelist in an Albany Law School CLE entitled, "Commercial Division Rules in Supreme and County Courts: What You Must Know."
On February 1, 2021, New York’s Unified Court System adopted thirty of the Commercial Division rules for use in parts outside the Commercial Division, including trial and matrimonial parts. Recently, the New York State Bar Association called for the Office of Court Administration to pause the implementation of these rules and accept comments from the bar on these new rules. This program addresses the new rules and how they will change attorneys’ practice in non-Commercial Division courts across New York State. The program will also focus on which of the Commercial rules should be implemented in other court parts and if so, what modifications should be made to those rules.
