Lance Kodish is an Associate in the Firm's Real Estate Department and its Business Reorganization and Creditor’s Rights Group. In the former, Mr. Kodish represents landlords and tenants in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases for office and retail space throughout the New York Metropolitan area. He also drafts and negotiates contracts for the sale of residential and commercial real property while conducting due diligence to achieve successful closings. In the latter, Mr. Kodish has assisted in the representation of a significant creditor of one of the largest oil and gas debtors in recent U.S. history. Mr. Kodish is also a contributor to the Firm’s Bankruptcy Update blog. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Kodish spent five years as an Associate at Washington, D.C.-based law firms where he focused on real estate law and commercial lending.
