Biography
Louis Russo is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation department, where he represents clients in a variety of litigation matters. His practice currently focuses on products liability defense and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Russo also shares the Firm’s commitment to pro bono, with a particular interest in domestic violence issues.
Representative Matters
Products Liability
Mr. Russo regularly defends major pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in products liability suits brought in both state and federal courts, including state mass tort proceedings and multi-district litigation.
Mr. Russo also has experience advising international clients on compliance with U.S. products liability law and U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations.
Commercial Disputes
Mr. Russo also represents clients in complex commercial litigation arising under antitrust, tort, contract, and business-organization law in state and federal court, and before domestic and international arbitrators.
Pro Bono
Mr. Russo recently drafted an amicus brief on behalf of several non-profit organizations addressing issues relating to the intersection between domestic violence and the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.
