Biography

Michael Schwartz is an associate in the Firm's Litigation department. From 2015 to 2016, Mr. Schwartz served as a law clerk to the Hon. Paul A. Crotty of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Schwartz practiced at a large New York law firm.

Represented telecommunications company in breach-of-contract dispute relating to intellectual property licenses.

Representing leading cosmetics companies against claims of false and misleading advertising. 

Representing a medical device company in a multidistrict putative class action antitrust litigation regarding allegedly anticompetitive pricing policies.

Representing a major healthcare company in connection with internal investigation relating to potential compliance issues.

Represented art museums in connection with grand jury document subpoenas.

Advised a leading chocolate and confections company on risk associated with possible acquisitions.

Representing preliminary executors to multi-million dollar estate in defending against potential will challenge.
