Firm Hosts Seminar on IP Appeals for ACC

The firm hosted a client event entitled "On Appeal: IP, Media and Products Liability" on Wednesday, February 11 from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m., co-sponsored by the Association of Corporate Counsel, Greater New York Chapter. The program was presented by partners of the Appellate Practice Group of the firm. Thomas C. Morrison welcomed and introduced guests and spoke on the topic, "Victoria's Secret: The Supreme Court's Dilution of the Federal Dilution Act." Paul G. Gardephe, former Deputy General Counsel of Time Inc. spoke on "State Farm and Punitive Damages: Paper Tiger?" Robert P. LoBue's topic was "Talk Show Torts" andJohn D. Winter discussed "Protection of Trade Secrets in Product Liability Cases." The program is free to ACCA members but space is limited and reservations are required.
