Firm Represents Client in Its Acquisition of Major Lighting Manufacturer

Patterson Belknap attorneys represented a client in its recently announced acquisition of a leading manufacturer of LED luminaires and sustainable lighting products. The acquisition allows the firm’s client, one of North America’s largest privately held manufacturers of electrical wiring equipment, to strengthen its product offerings to a variety of markets with multiple specification-grade lighting solutions. The lighting manufacturer will operate as a new, standalone business unit and it, along with the firm’s client, will retain their separate agent networks and distribution channels to better serve longstanding customers of both.
