Hope Plasha Elected Fellow of American College of Real Estate Lawyers
Hope K. Plasha, a member of Patterson Belknap’s Real Estate practice, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
ACREL is “the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers.” The highly selective membership includes distinguished real estate practitioners from across the United States selected for their achievements and contributions to the profession and their communities. “We congratulate Hope on her well-deserved election to ACREL, and are thrilled to welcome Hope as Patterson Belknap’s third ACREL Fellow. Her election makes Patterson one of the few law firms with three or more Fellows from New York,” said Andrew L. Herz, Of Counsel in Patterson Belknap’s Real Estate practice and fellow ACREL member.
Ms. Plasha has a broad-based real estate practice that includes the representation of landlords and tenants in leasing transactions, owners and developers in acquisition, design, and construction matters, investors in the structuring of joint ventures, and lenders and borrowers in a wide-spectrum of real estate financings. She represents many not-for-profit organizations and is routinely invited to lecture on leasing and other areas of real property, including in the past year to Columbia University’s School of Architecture, Fordham Law School, and the New York State Bar Association, among other groups.
