Lisa E. Cleary Named Co-Chair and Managing Partner of Patterson Belknap

Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has elected Lisa E. Cleary as Co-Chair and Managing Partner, effective immediately. She succeeds Robert P. LoBue, who served as Co-Chair and Managing Partner, and joins William F. Cavanaugh, Jr. as Co-Chair.

Lisa leads the firm’s Employment Law practice, advising corporations and tax-exempt organization clients on employment issues related to their highest level executives and other key employees. She has led the firm’s Pro Bono Committee for more than a decade. Patterson Belknap is consistently recognized for its commitment to pro bono service on behalf of low income New Yorkers. For each of the past ten years, 100% of Patterson Belknap attorneys have participated in pro bono projects.

Lisa is the third woman to serve as Managing Partner of Patterson Belknap. Antonia M. Grumbach served as Managing Partner from 1990 – 1996 and Rochelle Korman served as Managing Partner from 2002 – 2007.
