Partner Stephen P. Younger Named to Transition Committees for New York Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo and Attorney General-Elect Eric Schneiderman

Patterson Belknap partner Stephen P. Younger has been named to New York Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo's Transition Committee for Public Safety and to New York Attorney-General Elect Eric Schneiderman's Transition Committee, serving on the Solicitor General/State Counsel Subcommittee.

Governor-Elect Cuomo's Transition Committee for Public Safety will recruit, review and recommend to the Governor-Elect candidates to fill the top positions within the administration related to public safety. The Transition Committee for Public Safety is one of three that the Governor-Elect created, all of which are made up of a diverse group of government, private sector and policy leaders with a wide range of local, state and federal experience in their respective fields.

Attorney-General Elect Schneiderman's Transition Committee will help recruit top legal talent to join the staff of the Office of the Attorney General and to provide policy recommendations to improve the lives of New Yorkers. The Transition Committee is made up of legal experts and leaders throughout New York and the nation, reflecting a diverse range of legal, academic and professional talent.
