Patterson Belknap Achieves 2022 Mansfield Certification Plus from Diversity Lab in Recognition of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Efforts

On October 18, Diversity Lab, an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity and inclusion in law, announced that Patterson Belknap has earned the highest designation of Mansfield Certified Plus. This recognition reinforces our commitment to build a diverse, equitable and inclusive Firm culture.

The Mansfield Rule Certification recognizes law firms which have affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities, and recruitment. In collaboration with Diversity Lab, the certified firms have completed a rigorous 12-month deep dive to evolve our policies and practices and include metrics for transparency and accountability. The "Plus" status recognizes that, in addition to meeting certification requirements, the Firm has achieved at least 30% diversity representation in a many leadership roles.
