Robert W. Lehrburger Selected as SDNY Magistrate Judge

We are pleased to congratulate our partner Robert W. Lehrburger on his selection to serve as a Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of New York.

Bob has spent more than 25 years as a litigator at the Firm, and has been active in Firm management for many years. He has served as member of the Management Committee, Chair of the Hiring Committee, and a member of the Diversity Committee among others. Skilled in the courtroom, Bob’s experience includes jury trials as long as seven weeks and bench trials as short as one day. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of commercial and intellectual property matters. He also has served as a mediator for the Commercial Division of New York Supreme Court and arbitrator for the Council of Better Business Bureaus.

Bob’s selection continues the long tradition of public service by Patterson Belknap attorneys, and we wish him well as he takes his seat on this distinguished Bench in the near future.
