White Collar Defense and Investigations

Together with American Oversight, Patterson Belknap filed a lawsuit today in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on behalf of Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap, a member of the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (the “Commission”). The suit alleges that the Commission has violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act by denying Secretary Dunlap and other members of the Commission access to key documents as well as by excluding them from much of the Commission’s work.
