Partner Daniel A. Lowenthal will be speaking on a panel at SCG Legal’s 2023 Midyear Meeting, being held on May 11-12, 2023.  The annual meeting, held in Berlin, will provide an opportunity for worldwide law firms “to exchange vital information to navigate near- and long-term circumstances.”

Mr. Lowenthal will moderate a panel titled “Are Bankruptcies/Insolvencies/Restructurings Returning?,” scheduled for 11:30 AM on May 12. The panelists joining Mr. Lowenthal are a group of international lawyers from law firms in Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the U.S. They will discuss how increases in interest rates, inflation, cryptocurrency scandals, political conflicts, and asset class volatility will interplay with the expected uptick in bankruptcy filings and corporate restructurings in 2023.
