On February 26 and 27, Patterson Belknap Partners Jane Metcalf, Jason Vitullo, and Steve Zalesin will be speaking at Consumer Brands Association's CPG Legal Forum, the premier gathering for senior legal professionals in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Ms. Metcalf, Mr. Vitullo, and Mr. Zalesin will speak on an Ethics Session titled "Crisis De Jure: Ethical Considerations for In-House Counsel in Product Recall Situations" on Monday, February 26 at 3pm. 

They will also host a roundtable session titled "D.C. Superior: Jurisdictional Plaintiff's Dynamite in a Small Package" on Tuesday February 27 at 5:15pm. The roundtable will address the legal complications created in a range of CPG industry areas by the DCCPPA granting standing to non-profits.

On Tuesday, February 27 at 10am, Ms. Metcalf will speak on a panel titled "Playground or Battleground: Examining Jurisdictional Trends in CPG Litigation." Ms. Metcalf will be joined by Sarah Langstedt (Senior Counsel, Litigation, Mondelēz International), Keri Borders (Partner, King & Spalding LLP), and Tyler Young (Partner, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP) to "review motion to dismiss and Court of Appeal ruling trends in historically active jurisdictions, as well as more novel federal jurisdictions, D.C. Superior Court's transformation into a haven for NGOs, and state courts where plaintiffs are more active."
