Julia MacAllister is an Associate in the firm's Litigation department. Her practice focuses on advertising litigation, law firm defense, and other complex commercial cases including breach of contract, fraud, and trade secrets matters. Since 2023 she has served as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Professional Ethics Committee. She was selected as a SuperLawyers Rising Star in Business Litigation for 2023-2025.
From 2021 to 2022, Ms. MacAllister served as a law clerk to the Hon. Denny Chin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. From 2019 to 2020, Ms. MacAllister served as a law clerk to the Hon. Cathy Seibel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. From 2018 to 2019, Ms. MacAllister worked as an associate at an international law firm in New York.

- Won dismissal of multiple lawsuits concerning product labeling and advertising for consumer goods clients.
- Won dismissal of a lawsuit asserting defamation, tortious interference, and unfair competition claims again a financial tech company operating in the healthcare space.
- Currently representing a multinational beverage company in litigation concerning the environmental impact of its operations.

- Currently representing an AmLaw top-ten law firm against allegations of legal malpractice.
- Represented an AmLaw100 firm against a $30 million fraud claim.
Complex Commercial Litigation
- Represented a global pharmaceutical company in a regulatory investigation concerning the promotion of and contracting practices for certain biologics.
- Represented a Fortune Global 500 company in the energy and industrial products sector against claims brought under the Defend Trade Secrets Act and state law.
- Represented a global pharmaceutical company in a putative civil RICO class action asserting violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and FTC Act related to a patient assistance program.

- Represented an individual who was denied Social Security Disability benefits in appeal to federal district court and secured remand to the agency.
